Local Shops

Gift giving can be hard this holiday season when you don’t know what someone wants or needs. I find it hard to find unique gifts for people so I decided to compile a list of some of my fav local shops around Salt Lake that offer different gifts rather than just going to any department store, sorry Target. Here is a list of a few of my favorite places to shop:

Salt and Honey: Located on 9th and 9th, you can always find something at Salt and Honey. They have common stuff like clothes, jewelry, and accessories. However, they also have tons of stuff to represent Utah that you can’t find anywhere else and unique gifts like syrups for cocktails. The cool thing about Salt and Honey is they use vendors from Salt Lake so everything is local. Their soaps, candles, chocolates, etc. are all local. You can find local honey here as well as jam from a local favorite restaurant, Pig and a Jelly Jar. It is always fun to receive unique gifts and it is even cooler when they are local and you can see what your community has to offer. This is a must stop shop. Right now they have their holiday market going on as well! For more information please visit their website.

Hip and Humble: A hip and unique boutique that has a few locations around Utah including the new SLC airport, 9th and 9th, Farmington, and Bountiful. They carry some cute womens clothing, darling candles, decorated planners, fun drinkware, and kitchen accessories among many other things. To view their store and gather more information, here is their website. They even have a gift giving guide on their website! The service is always top notch with their sweet associates being there to help you find anything you need. All of their items are charming and different, ones that cannot be found at any other type of store. Definitely stop by if you have never been in.

Hip and Humble

The Children's Hour: Located on 9th and 9th, this store is a little bit different from the chique and trendy stores like Salt and Honey and Hip and Humble. They have shelves and shelves of fun treasures, toys, and books for children. There are definitely plentiful options for any kids on your list. You can find mini tea sets, adorable dolls, and fun interactive books of all kinds. TCH also has some beautiful and unique children's clothing. For more information please visit their website.

If you make it down to 9th and 9th, you can stop by all three of these shops! They will give you unique and valuable gifts for the holiday season. For other things to do on the 9th and 9th please visit my other blog post. Have a happy holiday season!
